With Nash Atkins of The Deeper Song
With the rustle of leaves and the quickly chilling air, our seasonal compass turns towards Autumn. This beautiful time of the yearly cycle calls our bodies to adjust and adapt, building and strengthening for winter, while leaving behind anything that may not serve.
As the veil thins and we are more easily able to perceive subtle energies, take a moment to settle into the soothing sounds of The Deeper Song (Nash Atkins). A space of reflection and rejuvenation, this sound journey will give pause to the bustle of life, long enough to drop into the body, soften pain, confront our shadows, and review the warmth we have cultivated through this growing season.
You can expect soundscapes on a variety of instruments from small to large, high to low, and sweet to dissonant. Nash will masterfully weave these frequencies into a tapestry of nourishing, inspiring, and catalyzing music. Instruments may include gong, crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, guitar, voice, chimes, shakers, drums, synthesizer, handpan, and more.

About the facilitator: Nash Atkins, founder of the sound journey and healing practice “The Deeper Song” lives his life to share the power and magic of sound with others. Nash has been studying and performing music since the age of seven and now has become proficient at many instruments and mastered several. After graduating Berklee College of Music in 2014 and going through a profound spiritual awakening, he sought to bring people to higher states of consciousness and deep healing by sharing music with the community. This began with founding Musical Chordination, a group of 3 musicians unlocking creativity and improvisation for self realization. The trio worked with organizations such as Mountainside Treatment Center, The Center for Motivation and Change, YMCA youth camps, various festivals such as Unifier, Tribal Gathering, Frendly Gathering Vermont, and many yoga centers. When the group went their separate ways, Nash formed “The Deeper Song” in 2018, after continuing his spiritual education with the study of many healing modalities including nutrition, breathwork, meditation, several styles of yoga, and mindfulness. Since then, the practice has evolved to incorporate private sound tuning sessions, epic sound journeys, intentional performances, and even facilitating/DJing Ecstatic Dance. To reach people, he uses guitar, keyboards, synthesizer, tuning forks, singing bowls, gongs, bells, flutes, didgeridoo, monochord, shakers, drums and more as mediums. “The Deeper Song” has traveled around Massachusetts, Vermont, New York and Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maine, and New Hampshire performing and giving sound Journeys since the formation of this practice. From the well of Cosmic Love, Nash connects intuitively with each person’s (and the group’s) soul frequency to release trapped trauma, pain, and emotions and renew everyone's contact with limitless joy and creativity
