A 3-week introduction to establishing a Spiritual Practice in one's life. Through instruction, guided meditations, discussion, and time to practice three basic meditation techniques, participants will have an opportunity to explore the process of opening one's heart and mind to engage life with deeper calmness, clarity, kindness, and commitment.
Exploring the wisdom traditions of the world's religions for almost 50 years, Lance Smith has practiced yoga and meditation since 1969. He blogs weekly at www.mondaymorningmindfulness.net, offers 'Be Still and Know', a monthly day-long meditation retreat, and facilitates weekly Mindfulness Circles, peer support groups for Life and Spiritual Practice.
