Winter Wednesdays Workday Warmup

8 Wednesdays: 8:00-9:00am, January 15- March 5. Join us for all 8 classes or drop in anytime!

This class is designed as a warm-up for the work day, a class to learn about how to maintain your own working body, and as a container for you to connect with yourself before connecting with others. Over the course of eight weeks, we will share a weekly morning practice to lubricate our joints for the day, encourage body awareness, support posture, and gradually shift imbalances. 

To help students develop a functional understanding of how various joint and musculoskeletal systems work, each week class will focus on a different region of the body, starting with the feet and ending with the head. Students will receive individual modifications to fit specific needs and will leave class with practices they can use at home.

Abby draws upon her ongoing studies in Shadow Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, and anatomy to skillfully guide students into their own senses of enteroception. Over time, she hopes to help students become literate in their own body’s rhythms, strengths, imbalances and limitations.

This is a great class for beginners or ongoing practitioners who want to work on the foundations.

Cost: $120 for 8 classes. Single class $18 or use your Community Yoga class card.
