A 3-week Continuum autumn series, with Megan Bathory-Peeler
Tuesday evenings • November 10, 17 & 24 • 5:30-8:00 pm EDT
The days are shortening and the nights are getting longer. We can resist the coming darkness or we can sustain ourselves by coming together for support and inspiration.
This 3-week series of weekly classes will help us gather and focus our attention inward with the embodiment practice of Continuum: playing with breath, movement, sound, and sensation to invite new ways to quiet and still our minds, bodies, and spirits. When we pause we are able to perceive options other than our habitual tendencies towards perpetual motion and constant noise. When we slow down it becomes possible to receive the embracing and nurturing aspects of the sacred darkness.
Come light your inner fire by embracing the call to journey inward during this potent time of year! Like birth, we can use these contracting forces to move ourselves forward into the unknown with power and creativity.
The practice of Continuum also encourages us to let go of any limiting beliefs that only serve to block our future good fortune and stop us from enjoying the exciting adventure of being fully alive in a human body. By letting go of any limiting beliefs we can then choose to risk pushing ourselves out of our known but boring comfort zones (before circumstances do it for us) and move through our fears of whatever is keeping us stuck. We will gain tools to work with the resistance or ambivalence we may feel arising from challenging our status quo habits and patterns, even when they no longer serve us.
