As summer draws to a close and fall approaches, we need to listen to the change in our internal rhythms as days grown shorter and cooler. Listening to our bodies, we cultivate awareness to reset, rebalance and revitalize ourselves. Restorative yoga practice gives us the space to cultivate attention to our body-mind.
Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing practice that helps reverse the destructive effects of chronic stress on the mind and body. Quieting the brain, restorative yoga requires no movement or physical, mental, or emotional effort.
Restorative classes at Community Yoga and Wellness Center are accessible to everyone; no yoga experience is required. Instructors DeDe Boyd and Barbara Polowy help each student adapt the poses to suit her or his specific needs, abilities, and comfort.
We appreciate your cooperation in refraining from wearing perfume or other scented products at the studio.
Fee: $15 per class. Class is limited to 16 students.
Pre-registration is recommended.
