Sharón completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training through Adhikara Yoga School in 2017. She began exploring yoga in 1997 as a way to develop the physical strength and flexibility her former jobs as a gardener, environmental educator, and bread baker demanded. After a series of difficult life events sent her searching for something more, Sharón began practicing meditation and later began training as a meditation teacher through the UMass Center for Mindfulness. Her mindfulness practice and training inform her understanding of yoga, and she weaves both into her teaching - along with a strong dose of playfulness and humor. She is grateful for her teachers Molly Kitchen and Jacoby Ballard (and the many who came before), and the Ashtanga and Anusara yoga lineages which have influenced her practice and teaching. After an early morning yoga class, Sharón goes off to her day job as a College Career Counselor.
