Nora is a native of the Pioneer Valley and has always been passionate about health and fitness. She currently is a Registered Biologic Dental Hygienist at New England Dental Wellness. At a dental conference in Boston, she took a continuing education yoga class in 2005, which coincidentally sparked her passion for yoga. Her mat was a place where she could go to start her day off on the right foot, or a way to de-stress at the end. Through her yoga practice, and later her teaching, she quickly realized how much the mind/body connection meant to her. This elevated her interest in wellness to a whole new level.
Nora decided to follow her heart, and take the Adhikara Yoga School training offered by Molly Kitchen at Community Yoga. She completed her 200 hour teacher training in 2016. Yoga provides a sense of appreciation for life and Nora wants to share that with others, just as her teachers have shared that with her. Her classes are focused on understanding the anatomy of the body and physiology of the breath to enhance the relationship with the self. Yoga is a true testament of living a holistic, healthy and fulfilled life. With every class, Nora hopes to ignite that spark in her students on and off their mats.
