Molly Kitchen

Molly Kitchen (RYT 500) has been teaching alignment-based yoga with joy and passion since 2009. In 2016 she completed her 500-Hour certification with Christina Sell and Gioconda Parker at the San Marcos School of Yoga. She has also specifically studied Anusara Yoga, Purna Yoga, vinyasa flow, non-dual Tantric philosophy, and Ayurvedic herbal and lifestyle practices.

Molly's yoga teaching is infused with clarity, humor, and heart. Her classes combine physical rigor with attention to detail, balanced by humor, mythic stories, and a discerning spiritual philosophy. Using precise alignment instruction and inspiring philosophy, she creates an environment that invites her students to connect with the wisdom of their hearts.

Molly is a strong practitioner and committed student, continually deepening her knowledge of somatic & spiritual exploration. She has been blessed to study with great teachers, and has been particularly influenced by Christina Sell, Gioconda Parker, Sara Rose Page, and Amy Reed.

As the founder & director of Adhikara Yoga School, she is dedicated to integrating social justice values into the teaching curriculum in order to inspire and mentor the next generation of yoga teachers. She also created Yoga Consent Cards as a simple and profound tool to allow students to choose whether or not they'd like to receive hands-on assists from teachers.

Molly is also a plant lover and community herbalist, an improvisational dancer, a bicycle enthusiast and a totally amateur Ultimate Frisbee player. She lives with her awesome husband, Joshua, in Western Massachusetts. More info at:
